Victor Gio
Trotted 1.09.0 as a three-year-old
Born to be a star
Victor Gio had stardom the day he was born with world class pedigree, looks and demeanor.
Promising start
Victor Gio's first crop was born in 2019 and already as four-year-olds, three of his offspring are millionaires or more in SEK! Gio Cash won qualifications for Orsi Mangelli and was second in the final, and has competed successfully all over Europe. In Sweden, he won the Breeders Course both as a two- and three-year-old. Deus Zack has won the Prix Paul Viel at Vincennes and the European Three-Year-Old Championship at the same track, while a year younger Edy Girifalco Gio won the Gran Premio Nazionale and was second in the final of the Orsi Mangelli, after winning the qualification.
Tremendous talent in the US
Victor Gio showed tremendous talent and won the qualification for the Peter Haughton Memorial as a two-year-old where he was runner up in the Peter Haughton Memorial. As a three-year-old, he made it to the Hambletonian with an honorable fifth place as proof that he asserted himself at the top of his class.
Carry the blood on
Ready Cash passed away in 2023, but his importance to harness racing will live on for many decades. Winners of the Prix d'Amérique Bold Eagle, Readly Express and Face Time Bourbon will, like Victor Gio, carry his blood forward. Victor Gio's 1.09.0 (1:51) makes him the fastest son of Ready Cash as a three-year-old!
Magical mothers
Ilaria Jet was a top race horse in Europe who also defeated the opposite sex, not least in the qualification to the Elitloppet in 2010. Her production is astonishingly sharp and Victor Gio has siblings such as Tony Gio with over five million SEK earned, Unica Gio who won the Premio Going Kronos and Amazing Gio with a lifetime mark of 1.11.9 (1:55,3).
To be continued
Victor Gio has shown through his first crop that he inherits the talent and genes that made him one of the best of his generation.
